Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the MotiveLoop mobile application (the “App”) provided by MotiveLoop (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the App

The App is a personal habit-tracking and behavior-change support tool designed for individual, non-commercial use. You may use the App on any device you own or control, subject to these Terms.

2. Health & Fitness Disclaimer

The App provides general wellness suggestions, habit-tracking tools, and progress insights. It is not medical, mental-health, addiction-treatment, or crisis advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new exercise program, changing your health routine, or making decisions about reducing or quitting substances. We are not responsible for any injury, health issue, relapse, withdrawal effect, or adverse outcome resulting from following suggestions in the App.

3. Your Content

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the App (habits, logs, notes). We do not claim any rights over your content. If we offer cloud sync or account features in a future release, additional storage and deletion terms may apply.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use the App to transmit harmful, unlawful, or offensive content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers or other users’ data.
• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our services.

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, mascot characters, and branding, is owned by MotiveLoop and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or other brand features.

6. Subscriptions & Purchases

MotiveLoop offers a free tier and optional Premium subscriptions. Premium subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Pricing, billing cycles, cancellation, and refund terms are governed by the respective app store’s policies. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device’s app store settings. We reserve the right to change Premium pricing with reasonable notice.

7. Availability & Updates

We may update, modify, or discontinue the App (or any feature) at any time without prior notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MotiveLoop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the App.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your access to cloud services if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your locally stored data remains on your device.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
